PDTF Mission

The Michigan Public Defense Task Force (PDTF) is a founding member of the Campaign for Justice.  It was formed in 2001 to address a crisis in how public defense services are provided to the state's poorest citizens.

The Task Force is comprised of criminal justice professionals, juvenile justice advocates, social workers, treatment providers, faith communities and citizens concerned about Michigan broken public defense system.  We invite you to join us in this effort.
